Crazy ass filipinos Empty Crazy ass filipinos

CAF /Crazy ass Filos is a asian gang primarly composed of Filipinos that take refuge across New York. CAF had started odd as a Barkada (a word in tagalog meaning friend group) of course later on turning into a gang. The purpose of this Barkada was to serve and protect the community as CAF has one of the most largest Filipino comminities in New York. That are also known to harbour drugs, firearms and more. The set has had many run ins the law, meaning the NYPD has targeted the gang to this day with the hopes of disbanding it.

___Upbringing:___
The set was believed to be founded by Filipino immigrants who were "fresh off the boat.." Although after forming the set, affiliates were finding it hard to surpport themselves or their family. Meaning at first older's within the set had to pull in money by working the corner, dealing skittles and waffle sticks. In fact they were rarely seen as gang members. Instead they were seen as hustlers and scammers. Angered by the reputation they had hauled in, the set decided to take a different approach to make money. With the money they had already made from selling skittles and waffle sticks, members decided to buy themselves firearms in order to rob local stores within their area or hold down their territory. Another way the set would make money is through Home invasions. Fortunately after a few weeks, the set had pulled in more then enough money from robberies to help the Filipinos who weren't as fortunate as them. While all this happened, CAF had also managed to gain the respect of other small street gangs within the area.

___Territory___
Most CAF affiliates can be found on the corners of various streets across New york such as Jehova street and Raymond avenue near the Roosevelt tower apartment complex. CAF members that are seen on these corners are probably in large groups. This is due to the death of Christian Mendoza, known as Skinny to CAF members. Being killed by a stray bullet in a drive-by.

___Who was Skinny?___
Christian Mendoza, also known as Skinny, is the younger brother to Geo Mendoza ,Hot-head, whom was a shot caller within CAF. Geo had tried to keep Christian away from the streets, guiding him throughout his academic journey. Unfortunatly Christian had started to hang around with CAF affiliates after school who would shoot dice on Jehova street. After developing a relationship with the group, Christian would start to move packs of weed (scores) around New york. Geo would accept the fact Christian had started working for him and decided to encourage his new lifestyle. Christian had gotten the name Skinny because of his frail and fradgile apperance, being fairly skinny for a Filipino.

___His death___
While walking home from school, a black Ford Sierra would pull up towards Skinny. A group of black males would stand behind Skinny ,who were thought to be the intended targets. Two masked men had leaned out of the Ford Sierra, armed with firearms. They opened fire on the group. Skinny had cut into an alleyway. Unfortunatly his efforts were useless and he was caught by a stray bullet.

___Mendoza family___
This bloodline is composed of FIVE known affiliates of CAF who are known as : Christian, Geo, Camila, Angelo and Manny. This bloodline had started off the barkada which later on became CAF. Two families made up this Barkada which were the Mendoza family and the Cruz family. Both families ran an illegal gambling rink behind a bar which is where CAF now hangs around or harbours firearms.

___Culture___
Aftee immigrating to American, the Filipinos had brought there culture to American. Which have influences of again American and spanish culture. Filipinos are family oriented with an appreciation for art, food and music (OPM.) The small filipino community had enough to start up a small fast food resturant named "Manila flavours" selling food that stretched from metro manila to the north. The dishes that were made were traditional such as: adobo, etc.
